The winter here is a paradise for skiers, and in the summer mountain hikers can take advantage of the many paths which connect the town to the resort, leading to the peaks of Turluka, Chernoka, Nevyastata, Orlitsite and Murgavets. The average annual temperature is 8˚C with approximately 270 days of sunshine and 150 days of snow. Pamporovo is situated 1650m above sea level, at the foot of peak Snezhanka, (1926m). There are eight ski runs of varying difficulty, with altitudes ranging from1450m to 1926m, all running down the Snezhanka peak. The lift network is 10km in length and has the capacity to carry 6,800 people per hour.120 qualified instructors are available to provide tuition for beginners and advanced learners in up to 5 levels of alpine skiing. The resort also has 2 level cross-country courses and a ski school, which offers day care for children between the ages of 5 to 8.

 

The Rodopa House complex will include parking facilities, a shopping centre, lobby and bar, ski office, gym, pool, sun bathing area, sauna, year round maintenance and a 24 hour security alarm system. Prices range from 61,500 euros to 150,000 euros, depending on the size of the property as 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments will be available.
